3-CAF is a synthetic cannabinoid featuring a 3-carboxylate-indazole structure with a 1-(2-fluorophenyl) group. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.

Research on it was published by ACD/Labs’, US Environmental Protection Agency’s EPISuite, and ChemAxon. In the reports by ACD/Labs the chemical has 2 hydrogen acceptors, 0 hydrogen donors, 6 freely rotating bonds, an index of refraction of 1.606, with a surface tension of 42.0±7.0 dyne/cm, a flash point of 276.9±22.6 °C and a boiling point of 534.2±25.0 °C at 760 mmHg.
